Week 12

So, There really is a baby in there, huh?

At today's visit, the midwife said everything looks good. The nasal bone is visible and its spine it the appropriate length, so that was great news. Its heartrate was 153 which is in the normal range. I've heard that heartrates below 150 indicate a boy, heartrates above 150 indicate a girl, and I enjoy that my child was being wonderfully tricky by making her/his rate too close to that mark to make any real judgment. Always keep 'em guessing, little one.
